About Us
Contemporary American Craft
Before Zephyr became a favorite among shoppers, Toby Quitel, founder of the gallery, filled the shelves with
antiques and American craft. But with the growing popularity of contemporary American craft, the antiques
went by the wayside, and Toby loaded the shelves, adorned the walls, and filled the windows with creations
from some of the most talented artists in the country.
Zephyr Gallery expanded, with the help of Toby's husband Harvey and daughter Melissa and opened locations
in Peddler's Village; Princeton, NJ; Marlton, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ in the exciting Quarter at the Tropicana
Casino. Many moves took place over the years and Zephyr built an amazing following of loyal customers who
were happy to follow the gallery to its "next stop."
Zephyr's newest home is back in Bucks County once again, in the quaint and historic town of Newtown. You
will find the gallery on North Sycamore Street, across from the new Goodnoe's Corner. Zephyr is proud to
represent their "oldies but goodies": jewelry by Ayala Bar, Holly Yashi, and Sherry Tinsman; art glass by Vitrix
Studios, Karg Art Glass, Mad Art, and Water's Edge Studios; whimsical sculpture made of recycled tools and
parts by Yardbirds; furniture by Avner Zabari and Delia; wall art by Artistic Alchemy, David Scherer, and local
artist Colleen Attara; and Judaica by Gary Rosenthal, Infinity Art in Metal, and Seeka Designs.
Whether you need a gift for a friend or relative, a piece to decorate your home, or just something to make you
feel good, Zephyr Gallery is the place to go, with an amazing collection of the most imaginative and unique, fun
and functional, sophisticated yet whimsical creations around.
